Dr. Bloch
New Years Eve, 2003— the clock struck midnight and everybody was dancing around the tables at Chez Leveque, singing, kissing strangers, drinking from champagne bottles and generaly making asses of themselves. Drinking does that to you but my friend on the opposite side of the table was not having a good time. He was just too serious that night, too into his own angst, to surrender to his emotions, grab some sweet young French Canadian girl and enjoy himself. Why are people so serious all the time?
